Shackleton Whisky

Inspired by Sir Ernest Shackleton and his story, Richard Paterson has spent many years perfecting a new whisky.

Shackleton Blended Malt has been expertly crafted by using a recreation of the antique Mackinlay’s as its foundation, combined with the finest Highland malt whiskies.



50ml Shackleton Blended Malt whisky

1 large cube or block of clinebell ice

Glass. Large whisky tumbler

Method. Add large ice block to glass and add Shackleton, stir softly for 5 seconds and serve.


The Highball is a true classic, whisky's version of the G&T. Originally influenced by Japanese bar culture where artistic approach and wonderful craftsmanship creates simple drinks that are full of purpose. The Shackleton Highball is simple to make, clean with a refreshing taste. 

50ml Shackleton Blended Malt whisky

Pour over crushed ice and top with bottled soda.

Garnish: Lemon zest

Glass: Rocks

Customise your Shackleton Highball with a different mixer to match your adventure. Add sparkling apple juice for extra energy, ginger beer to awaken your senses, or Prosecco and fresh raspberries for special celebrations.


The Rob Roy cocktail was created in the late 19th century at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. It’s essentially a Manhattan with scotch.

50ml Shackleton Blended Malt whisky

25ml Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino

2 dashes Angostura bitters

Tools: Mixing glass, barspoon, strainer

Glass: Vintage coupe

Garnish: Cherry

Method: Combine ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, stir, strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
